Vermillion Skies has developed the 'Choice Click System' designed to offer users a better experience and advertisers a higher and 'cleaner' click through rate. The system was developed as part of our 'Pay-4-Performance' traffic generator.

The system sits within our message or logo verification pages enabling the user to send a message or logo by viewing results from our popular advertisers (randomised each time it is seen). The user has the choice to click on an advertiser or alternatively they have non-advertiser options such as:

  1. Show me different advertisers
  2. If these results don't interest you click here to send your message
"Choice" is the key word. When a user has a choice, genuine traffic will be generated!

In a controlled test test each page showed 15 advertisers (5 results from 3 product categories) and non-advertiser options' Using a 24 Hour period as a representative spread we found the following:
  • Only 25% of all users chose to click on an advertiser.
  • In turn there are 15 advertisers per page, this amounted to an average click through rate of approx 1.6% per advertiser.
  • Thus 75% of users chose to not see an advertiser. This qualifies the fact that users are making a genuine choice.

Knowing that a user is clicking on a creative out of choice gives the 'Choice Click' a desired appeal to advertisers. The aim was to design a system that had as much benefit to the advertiser as it did to the user.

As an advertiser to take advantage of the 'Choice Click System' all you need to do is provide 'tags' including the following:

  • A Title
  • A Description
  • A Hyperlink
